These kits are designed to provide health professionals with hands-free light sufficient to conduct safe deliveries, even if labor lasts all night. The recommended package includes one Premium Headlamp and our Solar Battery Charger. Our ultra-durable, <a href="http://www.onedegreesolar.com/products/premium-headlamp-aid">Premium Headlamp</a> is one of the only headlamps on the market that produces warm, natural light *_that allows for the natural observation of patients.* Additionally, it is durable and fully waterproof, able to be submerged in 1m of water. It’s bright, broad light is also helpful for search and rescue missions in emergency settings. Headlamps can be hung from the ceiling to produce basic lighting for a small clinic room, or allow health workers to visit patients and tend to emergencies within their communities. Our Premium Headlamp uses one single AA battery at a time. We recommend including 4 Sanyo 2700 mAh Industrial Strength Advanced Ni-MH rechargeable batteries to ensure that charged backup batteries are always available (optional, but not included in standard package).
